# Practice Analytics

* Is there variability in your practice?
* Are players having to eXPlore and therefore 'practicing to adapt', or are they repeating the same thing over and over ('practicing to repeat')?
* Are your shooting activities "representative" of situations players will eXPerience in games? ([game profiling](/key-features/game-profiling.md))
* What happens to shooting percentages as you progress on the continuum from unopposed/repetitive shooting drills to 5v5 scrimmages - where is the "tipping point" and what does that reveal about the types of eXPeriences players need more of in order to improve their shooting in games?
* What constraints are you using in your practice, and how do they impact the above?

All of these questions, and more, can be answered by the statistics, interactive charting (linked to video) and filtering available in the ShootXP app.

{% hint style="info" %}
**At this point in time, the ShootXP app is the first and only practice tool where the analytics have been intentionally designed around contemporary perspectives in skill acquisition and the wisdom of world-leading practitioners in the field.**
